Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Clinic
The specialists of the Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Clinic work regularly at a total of 19 operating tables in the Flemmingstrasse and Küchwald Hospitals and the Gynaecology Clinic, where surgery is carried out every day by all of the surgical clinics of the Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH. To these areas of responsibility belong another 7 additional anaesthetising units where anaesthesia for non-operative specialities is carried out.
In addition, our staff care for the 10-bed interdisciplinary critical care units in both the Flemmingstrasse and the Küchwald Hospitals.
The Clinic is also responsible for the organisation and management of the emergency medical centre in the Flemmingstrasse Hospital.
