We would like to provide you with detailed information about the ophthalmology services and all we have to offer you here at our Eye Clinic in Chemnitz.
If you are a patient, you will also find everything you need to know about your particular eye problem as well as helpful information regarding your stay at our Clinic.
You will see that we provide extensive contact information to ensure that you are able to find the right person to talk to. We will also tell you about our satellite clinic in Schneeberg.
A team consisting of 11 physicians (including 2 senior physicians and 1 eye specialist) will take care of you while you are at the Eye Clinic of the Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH.
Patients are treated both on an outpatient and an inpatient basis. For ambulatory care, there is an outpatient clinic located on the ground floor (entrance near the fountain). The inpatient care unit is located on the 10th floor of the ward block and is a state-of-the-art eye treatment centre. The annex is especially intended for self-pay patients.

Annual Programme for Clinical Continuing Education
For those interested, please see below to download our 2010 Clinical Continuing Education programme (in German only). The classes take place once a month, on Wednesdays from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the hospital on Flemmingstrasse 2, Executive Conference Room 11.108. Please call in advance to register (Clinic Director's Secretary Office: 0371 333-33230).
